Park City – Getting Back to Mother Nature

Park City is a beautiful mountain town located in Utah just 30 minutes drive from Salt Lake City Airport. With the decline in the silver mining, the town refocused itself as a tourist destination.  With its green forests of pines and aspens, beautiful parks, clean air, and magical ski track,  Park City attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Park City is a perfect place to live or visit if you love the outdoors. This town is strategically located in the midst of the most amazing mountain ranges and artistic rock formations while being one of the most easily accessible resort communities in the US.

Park City offers many outdoor locations to experience and enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature to the fullest. And, we’re just a short drive to clear mountain streams and lakes –fly fishing or just taking in our beautiful scenery

Park City is a great Utah tourist destination providing visitors (and us locals) with endless fun both in winter and summer. Park City’s scenic alpines are a perfect choice for skiers during winter and lovers of other winter sports. Summer is an excellent time to explore Park City-- the weather is warm (comfortable temps and low humidity) and with spring and early summer decorated with the thousands of blossoming high mountain flowers and quaking Aspens. A visual feast as you hike through our local forests and the state parks. You should consider visiting Park City if you are looking for as a place to spend your summer vacation.

Park City is full of fun spots that provide a variety of exciting activities that will satisfy the needs of any visitor. Skiers for instance have a rare opportunity to enjoy a yearly snowfall of 300 to 400 inches. Both expert and beginners will certainly enjoy skiing down the slopes of Park City’s mountain trails. There are also sleigh rides, telemarking, snowshoeing, tubing and snowmobiling available to when you want to try something different.

Park City is also dog friendly (locals sometimes call our town Bark City) and has several dog parks to let your dogs run. These off leash dog parks allow the dogs to run and play with other dogs and owners.  The dog parks also provide facilities like water, dog waste bins, seating and shelters. Taking your dog out to the dog park is an excellent way for you and your dog to relax and just part of “Bark City’s” local flavor.

Late Spring is an excellent time for artists, photographers or anyone who loves colorful mountain meadows to visit the state and federal parks near Park City. The springtime air at the parks is filled with sweet scents from the blossoming flowers.  And, you’ll miss the winter and summer crowds.
